The craziest thing happened this morning: Walk outside to check my property this morning and realize my “BRAND NEW” gas can was stolen(it had my name written all over it).I admit, I was a bit more than frustrated, so I paused to pray for grace and mercy upon this poor soul(seriously). I went back inside to grab my bike to make my rounds throughout the neighborhood to check to see if the thief may have dumped it and just took the gas. well as i was about to load my bike into my car to put air in the tires I noticed an old man across the street messing with what looked like my gas can, he was tucking it in the high grass behind a light post. Now, I thought to myself this can’t be my gas can but it looks so familiar. I waited for the man to ride his bike down the street then I crossed the road to find my gas can WITH MY NAME ON IT tucked in the grass. A day in the life of Harlem Heights. I don’t think the old man stole it, I have some theories about that. I just think God was gracious to me by not allowing my wife to be the first one to discover the gas can as missing. Thank You God. That would have made for a much worse morning.
